      I know a lot of people use the tea but I've never tried it. I won't based on what I've read. It causes liver damage long term even if you can't see it the first time you drink the tea

      I drink the tea too, hasn’t don’t any ha to my liver. I think that warning came from Canada. I think the pharmaceutical companies put out these warnings about herbs to discourage use of what can be helpful and affordable.

      @@backyardfarmerpat- “..based on what I’ve read”……sure, studies funded by pharmaceutical companies! Plenty of people have been drinking comfrey tea long term and I mean decades without a scratch. And I get my liver checked regularly with lab work as I have had hepatitis c but now no trace due to strong treatment years ago, liver is restored to health- not damaged by comfrey tea. Stop spreading misinformation.

    Some doctors understand natural medicine and are ok with it or can help with suggestions. Both my regular doctor and my pain management Dr understood I try to use medicinal practices when possible. My regular doctor grew up with a grandmother who used Chinese medicinal herbs and is more knowledgeable than my other Dr but both are very encouraging to me. When you find a good Dr that supports natural along side chemical it's so comfortable with that Dr.

      @semsimama2191 I use it for sprains and sore muscles. My grandmother loves it when I make it for her to use for her arthritis. My neighbor is 88 yrs old, and it's the only thing that helps her arthritis pain during winter.

      @backyardfarmerpat I made mouth wash for sore gums/toothache using the comfrey, and let's just say my cousin swish it for 2 mins and spit it out and went to bed and she up with her gums and mouth feeling way better. And by the time she repeat the process in the morning toothache and sore gum was gone.
      When swishing, u have to do the swish as if u doing oil pulling. I don't understand how Dr. Big pharmaceutical people live with themselves, knowing that stuff like this is so powerful and instead give ppl terrible drugs.

    I burned my inner finger really badly with a burning tool when it slipped. The pain and bubbling was immediate. I got it under water for a minute to stop the heat and was crying it hurt so bad. I was going for the nustard but remembered i had starts outside. I grabbed a leaf , smashed with my hands as much as i could and slapped ut in. I put a bandaid around nit and it stayed on for about 6 hours. When u took it off and washed it i had no bubbling left. The Next day my niece asked me how ny finger was and i had to remember what she was talking about because i literally had no pain ir soreness. All that was left was a little hard skin spot after a wound heals at least 2 weeks. I had the tiniest bit of pink and by the 3 rd day there was nothing bat all. It didn't peel or scar. That's when i started even more seed so i could make things to share with people I love

      @@backyardfarmerpat lol ya sorry. I was tired and didn't put my glasses on. So yes it was comfrey leaf from one of my starts. Even small in a cup it was magic. And yes , mustard. My granny always used mustard on stings and burns. She was from the days of 11 kids in a one room shack and had nothing, in her case only one hand. Off topic but she taught me a lot.

    Hi, by using the powder is it really infused? Many people say it must sit for about 5-6 weeks in oil out of the sun before it is infused so is this powder method potent? Did you see any results for pain etc?

    • @backyardfarmerpat
      @backyardfarmerpat  Месяц назад +2

      My method has the actual comfrey powder in there. That's definitely infused. I have only heard of one person who it didn't work for. It works for certain kinds of pain.

      @@backyardfarmerpat plastic is the same as metal. If you notice the big companies have glass jars in all expensive products, to keep the quality of cream for long term.
      I ordered the smaller glass jars from Amazon and if you do the oils of product is better to put in dark bottles or I put it outside the bottle aluminum foil, to stay in the dark.
      You can see the best Olive Oil is in the dark bottle, the one in light is not original oil, is mixed with other oils.
      I learned that from reading through natural sources. Have a great day 🙏🙏
